Barclaycard expanding contactless payment devices

bPay, payment division of the British company Barclaycard is working with seven watch brands to create a new payment tool that is also stylish and functional as a watch. bPay has also joined forces with LBS, a supplier of straps for watches, to bring “TapStrap” to the market. This is a replaceable strap that can be attached to any watch and allows users to make purchases up to GBP 30 without entering a PIN.

These initiatives come after an announcement that Barclaycard will expand the series of contactless bPay devices. The range of bPay contactless payment devices the company has already includes bracelets, stickers and key chains.
