The purpose of the Competence Center is to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Initiate IoT research<\/li>\n<li>Implement new scientific developments in business<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate the production of products and services<\/li>\n<li>Develop industry standards and educational programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Competence Center currently has a research budget of RUB 90 million; however, that amount is expected to reach RUB 200 million by 2022.<\/p>\n<p>For Sberbank, IoT is of great interest, particularly in technologies that lead to smart buildings, smart stores, smart cities and eHealth.
