A large reason for this is the departure of investment banks such as Swedbank, BNP Paribas, BSGV and Barclays, taking with them a significant number of investment transactions into Russia\u2019s financial sector. This has pushed many workers to search out other opportunities, including freelancing and consultancy as well as career paths outside of Russia.
