These nearly 7 million Russians are being courted by an increasing number of educational providers that include government agencies, universities and private companies. While many of these opportunities are provided by corporate \u201cuniversities\u201d (e.g. Sberbank, MTS and Gazprom), online learning has also found a niche, especially among those aged 36-45. This, along with international potential, has prompted a number of new startups in online education.
