Perhaps nowhere is this truer than in Russia, where the data market is still largely in its infancy. In fact, the government of Russia is still trying to figure out rules for balancing data use and privacy concerns. Despite its status as an emerging market, data in Russia still is available to those who know where to find it. The three main sources of data in Russia are, unsurprisingly, telecommunication providers, social media networks and mobile apps.
