Kyrgyzstan has begun the process of opening their data, with the State Communications Committee working to create a portal that will give citizens access to up-to-date information from government agencies, including the Ministries of Education, Economy, Justice and Finance as well as the Tax Service, the National Statistical Committee, the State Registration Service and the Customs Service. The goal of the portal is to provide high-quality services while also increasing efficiency, effectiveness, openness, transparency and accountability.<\/span><\/p>\n

The measures (both implemented and planned) to open data in the country are part of the <\/span>Sanarip Kyrgyzstan<\/span><\/i> national strategy and the World Bank\u2019s <\/span>Digital CASA Kyrgyzstan <\/span><\/i>project.<\/span><\/p>\n
