The system will also allow for past orders to be analyzed for the purpose of creating personalized offers.<\/li>\n<li>Forbes columnist Cheryl Winokur Munk&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/cherylwinokurmunk\/2020\/08\/20\/insurance-getting-a-fintech-facelift\/?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=fintechweeklycom#360ba6c720fc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">details<\/a>&nbsp;how modern technologies are changing the insurance market, particularly how consumers are now demanding insurance products that are faster, easier and more transparent.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbinsights.com\/research\/report\/fintech-trends-q2-2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">According<\/a>&nbsp;to CB Insights, the volume of investments in FinTech in the second quarter of 2020 grew by 17% to USD 9.3 billion.<\/li>\n<li>The COVID-19 pandemic has demonstrated why its important for financial service providers to understand and implement cloud-based and other modern technologies or risk becoming obsolete in a post-pandemic world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Russia:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mobile operators are&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/iz.ru\/1052454\/anastasiia-gavriliuk\/stoi-kto-zvonit-rossiian-zashchitiat-ot-bankovskikh-moshennikov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">working<\/a>&nbsp;with financial institutions to develop an anti-fraud system that will block calls from scammers. The new system will be tested within the framework of the country\u2019s regulatory sandbox. This includes automated informational exchanges between financial institutions, notaries and registering authorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Kyrgyzstan:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/24.kg\/ekonomika\/163391_vkyirgyizstane_predlagayut_primenyat_QR-kodyi_dlya_oplatyi_tovarov_iuslug\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">government decree<\/a>&nbsp;has been drafted that, if approved, will allow QR codes to be used for the payment of goods and services. The draft decree has been submitted for public discussion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Uzbekistan:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spot has&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.spot.uz\/ru\/2020\/08\/31\/fintech-oson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">published<\/a>&nbsp;materials on the development of FinTech in Uzbekistan over the last few years, highlighting that FinTech prospects in the country are looking up after a period of doubt.<\/li>\n<li>Anorbank has&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.spot.uz\/ru\/2020\/08\/26\/anorbank\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">received<\/a>&nbsp;a license from the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
