Despite their historical reliance on basic technologies, approximately 73% of SME respondents indicated that they are likely to invest in these areas in 2024, reflecting a broader optimism about potential benefits to their businesses. This shift towards a more holistic approach to technology adoption contrasts sharply with their skepticism surrounding emerging technologies like cryptocurrencies, Web3, virtual reality and the metaverse.
