This is important for Kyrgyzstan as the country continues to develop its digital space.<\/p>\n<p>The number of internet users in the country was 5.24 million (85% of the population) at the beginning of 2017 and is expected to continue to grow as internet penetration into rural areas increases. Moreover, the total number of bank payment cards in circulation in Kyrgyzstan has increased by about 37% every year.
