OCBC Bank has become the first in Singapore to launch a comprehensive human resources mobile application. The system, called ‘HR In Your Pocket’, includes an artificial intelligence-powered chatbot which is integrated with the bank’s HR information system and provides immediate and personalized responses, thereby freeing up HR time and other resources. The app includes such features as:
- Fingerprint recognition for quick and simple logins
- Easy submission of leave applications and claims
- Tracking of employee medical and lifestyle reimbursement claims
- Colleague contact details
- Readily-accessible information about OCBC policies and procedures
- 24/7 accessibility
The next phase of development will include the app’s integration with a learning management system so that employees can apply for courses and track their learning and development journey through the app.
