New Electronic Document Management at ВТБ bank (Azerbaijan)

The bank ВТБ (Azerbaijan) completed the first phase of implementation of the Electronic Document Management (EDM) system. The decision came from the need to optimize the bank’s internal operational processes i.e. the automatization of the applications’ receipt into the bank’s internal services ( HR, IT, maintenance department), registration of mail and approval of payment orders.

As a result, the bank already attained visible benefits as saving employees time, and also significantly reducing the direct cost of printing.

A great achievement was the integration of the Electronic Digital Signatures (EDS) in the EDM. Thus, the mobile phone is used as an electronic identity card. As a result, ВТБ (Azerbaijan) became the first to integrate a legally recognized in Azerbaijan EDS into an internal Electronic Document Management system.
