A new electronic wallet (e-wallet) – OPPA – has entered the Georgian digital market. The OPPA brand was created by JSO OPPA (formerly Nova Technology), which operates the PayBox payment terminals and manages online payments pages through its website. Through the OPPA e-wallet, the company hopes to introduce a modern electronic culture of money management and settlement in Georgia as well as make it easier for people to perform monetary transactions. The OPPA e-wallet allows its users to: utilize more than 1,000 payment services; conduct money transfers to and from cards, bank accounts and other e-wallets; create and use templates for automatic payments; execute payments for a wide variety of services; and view financial details regarding any transaction.
