The COVID-19 pandemic has fundamentally changed the way we interact and conduct business. And, although many FinTechs initially struggled with the onset of COVID-19 (due to increasingly limited access to funding), FinTechs have also provided many important solutions for maintaining social distancing, ensuring business continuity and promoting economic recovery. This includes solutions that help governments and providers quickly and efficiently reach vulnerable populations. Although it is still too early to predict what form any post-crisis opportunities will take, it is clear that FinTechs (who are fundamentally innovative) will play a major role in both reigniting the world economy and making it more resilient to future crises as we slowly adjust to a new normal.
