Uzbekistan hosts DigiGirlz High Tech Camp

Uzbekistan hosted the second DigiGirlz High Tech Camp educational program, which is aimed at increasing the potential of girls and attracting them to the technology sector. The program, held at the Inha University in Tashkent, provided young girls (aged 12-17) with the chance to familiarize themselves with the technology sector and new innovations within it. The program was organized by the Microsoft Corporation and Inha University, with additional support provided by Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Public Education and Ministry of Information Technology and Communications Development

DigiGirlz is Microsoft’s investment program in education, science, technology, engineering and math for girls. The program is designed to prepare future employees who are ready for the challenges and problems of the global economy.
