Cryptocurrency legislation may make Azerbaijan a world cryptocurrency leader

Maryam Tagiyeva, the chief system architect of the British Research Center for Citizenship, Enterprise and Governance (CCEG), believes that Azerbaijan is in a position to become the world leader in the use and regulation of cryptocurrencies. The expert noted that many countries are resistant to the new currencies or are trying to regulate them through exchanges, something that could severely inhibit their development.

To overcome these ideas and attitudes, an example nation is needed. If Azerbaijan can create appropriate legislation to regulate cryptocurrencies without stifling their development, Azerbaijan will boost confidence in cryptocurrencies while also leading the world into a new era of how we all interact with the world and each other. To this end, the CCEG stands ready to help Azerbaijan with research and the development of a blockchain. For their part, there has yet to be a response from Azerbaijan to CCEG’s proposal.
