Finstra recently conducted a survey of 785 professionals working at global financial institutions. The results of this survey indicate that most such organizations are already seeing benefits from open banking and open finance concepts, especially those operating in Asian markets. In particular, banking as a service (BaaS) and embedded banking service solutions are already making an impact and helping financial institutions enhance their offering to consumers. This is despite the fact that current regulatory frameworks are largely seen as a hinderance to continue innovation.
