VTB Group (VTB) has launched a corporate FinTech accelerator based on GenerationS, the largest accelerator of startups in Russia and Eastern Europe. VTB’s corporate accelerator is aimed at finding and developing technology projects whose solutions can be implemented in companies controlled by VTB. The accelerator is accepting applications from startups in a variety of areas such as big data, artificial intelligence, biometrics, blockchain, the internet of things and the digitalization of business processes. During the acceleration program, specialists with IT, finance, marketing, sales and patent support will work with the teams.
Bank experts and GenerationS will evaluate the applications and select approximately 40 of the most promising teams to jointly develop technological solutions. Winning applications will be announced in March 2019.
