Traditional banks increasingly embracing Fintech

Once seen as a disrupter, Fintech is now being embraced by many traditional banks as the fast-track to digital and cultural transformation that is necessary to attract and keep customers (especially millennials). Moreover, working with Fintech has enabled these banks to sidestep any agility issues with legacy systems while also reducing their internal development costs. Banks can now buy into a product roadmap that will keep their technology, products and customer service fresh. And great customer experiences are as important for banks as they are for retail businesses. If banking products and services are easy to use and provide value, there is little reason for clients to change, and banks see their costs of client acquisition fall and lifetime value increase.
